I'm sorry this is the last of the series of the daughters of England. It's been fun following the family history for 400 years. Some books were better than others, but I would recommend the series to anyone else who is slightly obsessed with English history and loves a good romance.

This was the end of the Daughters of England series. It is an intriguing book set in WW II. It speaks to true love and faith.

One of my FAVOURITE AUTHORS, love and have ALL of her books.
Loved this entire series, she writes under several names Philippa Carr, Victoria Holt, Jean Plaidy.
Truly one of the most talented writers out there. Love her!!!
I love anything written by this Author, and this book completes my library of Phillippa Carr. It is a group of very tantalizingly wonderful mystery love stories about the lives of mothers/daughters in Fourteenth to twentieth century England. Once I begin to get into the stories, it is hard to put the book down. I have read the entire 16 (I think) stories over and over. Each time the stories are spellbinding adventures in love and hate, death and life, travel and near danger. Not having "We'll Meet Again" was like missing the end of these great stories. I wonder if it was the last book written by the Author. I also enjoyed the History lesson because each story was intertwined with actual historical society and events. Now I will be adding books of Miss Holts other pen name, Jean Plaidy.
As a lover of history, I thoroughly enjoyed every page of this book. My father was in the European Theater so I found this personally satisfying as well. I look forward to reading more of Philippa Carr's novels in the Daughters of England series.
