I think this bok deserves 4.5 stars, but you can't give .5 ratings here. I noticed small errors, such as, in chapter one, Crowfeather and Tornear were talking to Whitepaw, but next, when Whitepaw reacted to what they were saying, she was referred to as Whitetail. Later, however, this was revised, and she was Whitepaw again. Also, in the allegiances, 'Medicine Cat' is written as 'Medicine Gat' 3 out of 4 of the times it is written. Only in ThunderClan is 'Medicine Cat' written correctly. Overall, this book was wonderful, and I'm a Warriors Fanatic, so all the better rating for this book. I was slowly going crazy waiting for this book to come out and for me to be allowed to buy it. So, I rate this book 4.5 stars. I hope you enjoy this book.

My daughter who is 11 is HOOKED on this series. I cannot believe how fast she is a making it through all these books. I can't complain about spending the money especially when she is reading!! Thank You so much for writing a series to get kids interested in reading!! She will stay up way past her bedtime reading. It's hard to argue with her when she says just one more chapter.....
My oldest child has read these several times. I'm currently reading with a ten year old and I'm not loving it. Definitely geared more towards kids - mine both love it.
This book was...AWESOME!!!One of my favorites.Although I can't understand why Squirrelflight got mad at Brambleclaw for being with his kin,Hawkfrost. Although he had helped Mudclaw in the beginning,he saves Brambleclaw's life. Anyways, it is very interesting hearing about how yhe Clans fit into their new home.

Meanwhile,Leafpaw,(LaterLeafpool)is trying to find a sign from StarClan that the Lake is the right place to live and a place to share tongues with them. When Spottedleaf showed her the right location, things got very exciting after that. Like when Leafpaw/pool went with Sorreltail to find the Moonpool.

Well you get to hear about Brambleclaw and Squirrelflight and her qurril about Hawkfrost wigh Brambleclaw. So I think this is one of the best books, and hole you have a fun time reading it!
these children's books break my heart, scare me, make me take sides, always the good guy/bad guy scenario but the good guys don't always win hich is a change. a lot of violence for a kid's book. i'm reading the series as a promise to a 10 year old girl but i have to take breaks every so often due to the emotion the books raise in me. good for everyone but as a cat lover it makes it a little hard to lose a loved one.
Erin really outdid himself with this book!

Emotions are running high in all clans.Squirrelpaw(flight) is angry at Brambleclaw for speaking to his half brother, Hawkfrost,because Leafpaw(pool) has a suspicion about the Riverclan warrior.At the last moment,Tallstar makes Onewhisker his deputy,but dies.Mudclaw is furious.Hawkfrost sides with Mudclaw and Mistyfoot goes to Thunderclan to tell them that there is an attack about to be launched on Windclan!
Worse of all,the clans don't have a place to share tongues with Starclan,or have a place for a Gathering!Is this really the place they are meant to be?
Actually,this is worse.Leafpaw(pool) has a disturbing dream.With a prophecy.

I really enjoyed this book and read it practically all day, any time I had the chance. I'm dying to get the next book, 'Twilight'. At first I hate Hawkfrost, then I start to like him, then I hate him again! Gee, Erin, one moment I want to claw his ugly face, the next I want to hug his huggable face! That's basically the whole book. Good Hawkfrost, bad Hawkfrost while they discover their new home. Yep, haha.
I think that this continuation of Warriors was great. The alternating point of views were perfect, character development and characterization were incredible, and the overall plotline was exciting. I love the constant feeling f anticipation that resides in all Warriors books. You know something exciting and usually unexpected is going to happen at the end, but you're not sure what. This is where the alternating point of views come into play. Cat A thinks Cat B is good and trustworthy, but Cat C thinks Cat B is up to no good. Even at the end, it's still completely uncertain whether Cat B is good or bad. This builds exhilarating excitement, making you have to keep reading. I just finished it and I can't wait to get the next book.
The only sort of negative aspect is that it feels slightly rushed looking back on it, but not noticeable at all during reading.
